SANCTIONING AUTHORITY & GOVERNANCE

Authority & Compliance

The Series is sanctioned by FIM, FIM Asia, and NAMSSA to ensure international legitimacy, safety, and fairness.

Organizational Structure

  • Race Director – Ultimate authority for event execution and rule enforcement.
  • Technical Director – Manages scrutineering, equipment, and track compliance.
  • Clerk of the Course – Coordinates scheduling, rider flow, and race operations.
  • Marshals & Timekeepers – Monitor track safety and manage timing systems.

Professional Systems

Integration of digital registration, timing equipment, and media ensures efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.

Transparency

All rules, points, and decisions are documented, publicly accessible, and compliant with NAMSSA/FIM regulations.

OFFICIAL RACE CLASSES

Integrated Electric Bike Category – Core Championship

  • E-Bike Junior & E-Bike Open: Fully integrated into main championship; riders earn equal points and podium recognition. 
  • Technical Requirements: Battery voltage, insulation, and motor output regulated for safety and fairness.

Junior Categories

  • MX 50, 65, 85, 125: Designed for young riders to develop skills in a controlled environment.

Amateur & Entry-Level

  • Open Novice & Local Enduro: Encourages safe participation and growth in competitive racing.

Professional & Advanced

  • MX2, MX1: Higher-performance classes with advanced track layouts and technical challenges.

Specialty Classes

  • Ladies MX, Masters MX, Veterans MX: Inclusive classes encouraging participation across ages, experience, and genders.

Note: All MX classes race exclusively at Vermosa – The Capital for consistency in track conditions, media coverage, and logistics.

TECHNICAL CONTROL (SCRUTINEERING)

Purpose

Ensure all motorcycles and EBikes meet technical and safety regulations.

Checks

  • Engine, suspension, frame, brakes, wheels, and tires for compliance. 
  • E-Bikes: Battery health, wiring, insulation, charging safety, and throttle response.
  • Rider gear: Helmet, gloves, boots, chest/body protection, and eye protection mandatory.

Venue

All MX legs at Vermosa.

Enforcement

Pre-race inspections and mid-event spot checks.

Documentation

Scrutineering logs and photos archived for championship records.

TRACK STANDARDS & SAFETY

MX Venue

Ayala Vermosa – The Capital ensures consistent track quality, emergency access, and media coverage.

Design Elements

 Jumps, berms, technical corners, chicanes, and controlled surfaces tailored to class skill levels.

Safety Infrastructure

  • Marshals at critical points.
  • Safety barriers along high-risk sections. 
  • Emergency vehicles on standby. 
  • Radios and first-aid kits available at all marshal points.

E-Bike Integration

Charging zones and technical pits with emergency cut-off access.

Pre-event Audit

Officials verify track surface, obstacles, and hazard mitigation.

Points Co-efficient Multiplier

  • Leg 1-2 is x1
  • Leg 3-5 is x2
  • Leg 6-8 is x3

STARTING PROCEDURE

Grid Assignment

Based on qualifying times or previous round standings.

Gate Drop Start

Riders must remain behind the gate until release.

Jump (Bad) Start Penalty

Time penalty or disqualification.

Starting Gate

Electronic gate system with integrated timing sensors ensures fairness.

Timing Integration

Sensors at start gate record exact launch times for each rider.

FLAG SIGNAL SYSTEM

Yellow

Hazard; no overtaking.

Red

Race stopped; return to pits. 

Blue

Faster rider approaching. 

Black

Disqualification; exit track. 

Checkered

Finish. 

Note: Flag stations at all critical points, integrated with timing display boards.

TEAM MECHANICS & PIT REGULATIONS

Authorized Mechanics

Repairs, adjustments, fueling, and E-Bike charging within designated pits.

No Outside Assistance

Outside of pit areas during racing.

MX Vermosa Pits

Equipped for high-volume teams, E-Bike charging, and emergency technical support.

Timing Equipment Access

Only authorized personnel may handle transponders and timing chips.

MANDATORY INSURANCE

Requirements

  • Personal accident and medical coverage required.
  • Proof verified during registration.
  • Enforcement at Vermosa MX legs; riders without insurance barred.

SAFETY & MEDICAL PROTOCOL

  • Certified paramedics and ambulance stationed track-wide.
  • Evacuation routes, radios, and emergency communication protocols established. 
  • MX Vermosa: Full coverage across jumps and technical areas. 
  • All incidents documented, with post-event medical review.

PROTESTS & APPEALS

  • Written protests within official period; fee: PHP 15,000.
  • NAMSSA regulations govern all decisions; rulings final. 
  • MX Vermosa: Immediate on-site clarification via Race Director.

PENALTIES & DISCIPLINARY ACTION

  • Time penalties, position penalties, disqualification, or suspension. 
  • MX Vermosa: Enforcement supported by video review, marshal reports, and transponder/timing data.

REGISTRATION SYSTEM

Online Fee

PHP 500 per round/class; instant confirmation.

On-site Fee

PHP 750 per round/class; verified immediately

Race License Fee

PHP 500 one time payment per Leg.

Software Integration

Tracks points, licenses, participation, and payments.

MX Vermosa

Dedicated registration desks for efficient processing of large rider numbers.

COMPLIANCE & ACCREDITATION

  • Full adherence to FIM Sporting Code, FIM Asia Regulations, and NAMSSA rules.
  • MX Vermosa rounds certified for safety, technical compliance, and media readiness.
